Objectives and Deliverables

The project PROFET aims at developing a precise satellite positioning system. The specific objectives are:

  1. State of the art and requirements definition;
  2. Numerical data analysis and analytical model development;
  3. Model-based algorithms development for satellite position estimation;
  4. Electronic module design;
  5. Simulation and experimental testing in laboratory conditions.

The deliverables are associated with each activity from the project’s planning document:

  1. Report on algorithm inputs containing state of the art, requirements and data formats, formatting rules regarding the satellite data files and database of formatted data files;
  2. Report on analytical modeling and system identification with statistical validation and satellite models obtained after the validation;
  3. Report on position estimation algorithms and a toolbox containing the source code for the algorithms’ implementation;
  4. Report on the electronic module development with technical requirements, design choices, circuit model and software implementation, along with the electronic module hardware;
  5. Report on Hardware-In-The-Loop simulations and hardware experimental tests
  6. Scientific papers and general dissemination outlets.

Proiectul PROFET isi propune sa dezvolte un sistem precis de pozitionare pentru sateliti. Obiectivele sunt:

  1. Stabilirea tehnicilor de avangarda din literatura de specialitate si definirea cerintelor de proiectare;
  2. Analizarea datelor numerice si dezvoltarea unui model analitic;
  3. Dezvoltarea de algoritmi bazati pe model cu scopul estimarii pozitiei pentru sateliti;
  4. Proiectarea modulului electronic;
  5. Simularea si testarea experimentala in conditii de laborator.

Livrabilele sunt asociate cu fiecare activitate din propunerea de proiect:

  1. Raport privind datele de intrare pentru algoritmi, cerinte software si formatarea datelor cu privire la fisierele de stocare a datelor pentru sateliti;
  2. Raport privind modelarea analitica si identificarea acompaniata de validare statistica, impreuna cu modele de satelit obtinute in urma validarii;
  3. Raport privind algoritmi de estimare a pozitiei impreuna cu o biblioteca de programe ce contine codul sursa necesar pentru implementarea algoritmilor;
  4. Raport privind dezvoltarea modulului electronic, ce contine specificatii tehnice, maniera de proiectare, modele de circuite si implementarea software, impreuna cu modulul electronic implementat fizic;
  5. Raport privind simularile HIL impreuna cu testele experimentale pe hardware;
  6. Articole stiintifice si mijloace uzuale de diseminare a informatiei din proiect.
